Improvement of Business Networking Through Personal Strength and Weaknesses

The creation of communities is what networking is all about. Through technology use, relationships are artificially built rather than in person. Instead of visual personality displays and physical interactions, we get to know people through the words on the computer screen. We tend to do the successful online networking among the local business groups; therefore, it is necessary for us to find out the tasks that the various personalities carry out in the team process.

Any successful community development, team-building, and networking rely on five essential teams with different roles that are identified by certain traits and talents. Each group maintains its strengths and weaknesses, which is the main reason why at one point or another they rely on each other at given tasks.
Roles/tasks carried out by individuals:

1. Creators

This is the group where an idea comes from, since they can more likely see something that someone else doesn’t see. They tend to maintain smart ideas and go beyond the challenge by viewing the big picture. These “idea people” often come up with unusual solutions and generate new concepts after hearing about an issue that has taken place within their business.

2. Advancers

They are the kind of people who are willing to implement new ideas and explore new methods since there are open-minded. They tend to use personal methods they have previously tried when planning and finishing a given task. The only issue about advancers is that they do not put the consequences of the job they finished into consideration; they enjoy getting their business moving quickly. It is considered necessary for them that they move a given task forward from just thinking about it to doing something to get it done.

3. Refiners

They are the part of the team responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and challenging. They don’t take risks, since they don’t react quickly and carefully offer new ideas. Even though they can sometimes be too conservative, they can help create a much better result by forcing another group within their business to revisit a specific concept.

4. Implementers

They are considered an essential part of the team since they convert the plan given into reality. They are methodical and efficient since they do the job according to the plan in a process that in carefully thought-out. In other words, implementers make things happen.

5. Facilitators

They maintain the team’s long term vision and the over-all picture of the whole mission carried out. Essentially, they are responsible for keeping the mission moving from phase to the next until it is successfully done. Obviously, there a business cannot take place without distractions or conflicts; therefore, facilitators manage such problems and try to keep them to a minimum. Facilitators must maintain the ability of guiding a team if distractions take place, and must value all the roles taking place in the process.
